R&D project quantum calibrator successfully finished

Supracon has successfully finished a R&D project for the development of a quantum calibrator for DC- and AC-currents as well as resistances based on its AC-Quantum Voltmeter.

Jointly with PTB and the calibration service provider esz AG calibration & metrology the quantum calibrator has been developed. The Quantum Calibrator offers new possibilities for highly precise calibration of currents and resistors in DC- and AC-mode (I up to 2 A, ƒ <2 kHz, R in the range Ω to MΩ). The system is available with liquid helium or pulse tube cooling.

From now on, every customer will be able to upgrade the AC-Quantum Voltmeter to an AC-Quantum Calibrator.
