Supracon participated in the development of a new security camera funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. In the final stages of the project the passive THz camera was presented to the public and received excellent results.

The innovative camera allows to detect hidden objects such as for example ceramic knifes, metals, or specific chemicals. By this successful presentation Supracon established itself as manufacturer and industry supplier of components and subsystems in the area of security applications.

This project opens up a new application field for Supracon’s technology.
